Ambassador Abdulhadi met with the Palestinian Minister for the National Economy in Ramallah and discussed the work of the Palestinian Economic Ministry and possible future cooperation between the Ministry and its counterpart in Australia.
The Ambassador and the Palestinian Minister also discussed the needs and priorities of the Palestinian economy and the Ministry’s strategy to enhance and promote the Palestinian economy.
The Palestinian Minister has highlighted the importance and significance of Area C (which is fully controlled by the Israeli authorities) for the Palestinian economy, and the challenges facing the Palestinian Government in accessing this area and attracting expatriate and local investors.
