National Multicultural Festival 2017
The General Delegation of Palestine and all of its staff members participated in the 2017 National Multicultural Festival in Canberra.
The theme of the Palestinian stall was "Visit Palestine". It included a photo exhibition of sights in Palestine; a display of Palestinian ceramics, olivewood carvings, glass works and embroidery; as well as a stall for Palestine Fair Trade Australia to sell their wonderful Palestinian products.
Staff of the General Delegation of Palestine and members of the Canberra Palestinian Community spoke to festival-goers about their experiences in Palestine and the logistics around travelling to Palestine.
The day was a great success, with many people attending the Palestinian stall and leaving with a better idea about tourism in Palestine.
