Queensland Palestinian community consultation workshop
The first consultation workshop with the Palestinian community in Brisbane was a huge success.
The participants discussed their shared vision and objectives for the community, the challenges facing the community and identified strategic programs to overcome these challenges to achieve their goals.
The Palestinian Community Coordination Committee - Queensland was formed, comprised of an eclectic group of professionals. The primary goal of the newly-formed committee is to unify the Palestinian community in Queensland. They have also identified a wide range of programs, such as cultural activities and advocacy, to undertake.
This was the first of a series of consultation workshops that the Palestinian Embassy are running across Australia, aiming to unify the Australian Palestinian community.
