Harmony Day at Hughes Primary School

On Friday 23 March, the Palestinian Delegation participated in the Harmony Day event at Hughes Primary School. With a focus on cross-cultural understanding and exchange, Harmony Day is an opportunity for the students, many of whom come from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds, to acquaint themselves with some of the traditions, national dresses and foods of other cultures.
The Palestinian stall featured authentic ceramics, olive wood carvings, embroidery and traditional food, all of which was appreciated by more than 450 students and staff.
