Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Heads of Mission Group, in Canberra

The Palestinian Ambassador, in his capacity, as the Deputy of the President of the OIC Heads of Mission Group, has Co-Chaired the Plenary meeting of OIC Group in Canberra. The meeting discusses the annual plan of the Group including meetings with Australian officials, Australian civil society and the conduction of an interfaith dialogue to explain the true position of Islam towards coexistence, tolerance and cohesion.
The OIC group agreed to endorse and adopt “Jerusalem as the Capital of Palestine” as a guiding principle for all its activities this year as well as for its meetings with Australian officials and non-officials.
