The Embassy of Palestine in Canberra continued its efforts to strengthen and empower Palestinian communities in Australia and New Zealand. In this context, Ambassador Abdulhadi accompanied by First Secretary Ms. Noura Salah visited Adelaide on February 24 to participate in the last State Based Palestinian Community Consultation workshops.

The Workshop was attended by a wonderful bunch of Palestinian community professionals and activists who have shown a great deal of enthusiasm and commitment to the strengthening of the linkages and relations between the various Palestinian community elements.

The participants discussed the major constraints and challenges facing the Palestinian community in South Australia and proposed creative solutions to overcome these challenges.

The main outcomes of the workshop were an initial community development program and concrete ideas of an effective governance of the Palestinian community in South Australia.
