DFAT Secretary's Ramadan Reception

On Wednesday, 15 May, Ambassador Izzat Abdulhadi, Counsellor Suheir Gedeon and First Secretary Noura Saleh attended DFAT’s evening Ramadan reception, which was hosted by Secretary Frances Adamson at the Department’s premises in Canberra. Present were diplomats representing Arab and Muslim-majority countries, as well as departmental friends and colleagues from the wider Muslim community. In her address, Secretary Adamson stated that “Ramadan embodies the spirit of unity and inclusiveness, kindness and compassion, values that we all strive to uphold”.
