Iftar hosted by the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC)

On May 3, Ambassador Abdulhadi participated in an Iftar dinner in Canberra hosted by AFIC.
The Iftar was attended by prominent representatives of the Islamic community in Canberra, many local MPs, academics and others. Mr Mohammad Berjawi, Member of the Board of AFIC delivered a speech in which he welcomed the Palestinian Ambassador and wished a blessing Ramadan to the audience.
Mr Kayser Trad, the Executive Director of AFIC talked at the occasion, introducing AFIC objectives and activities and reflecting on the main messages of Ramadan.
