Morning Tea at Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Middle East and Africa Branch

On March 24, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) organized a morning tea for Middle Eastern and African Ambassadors.
The objective of the meeting was to pay a Farewell to Dr Angela McDonald, First Assistant Secretary of the Middle East and Africa Division, and to welcome the new Assistant Secretary for the division, Mr Benjamin Hays.
It was an opportunity for Ambassador Abdulhadi to meet with the new Assistant Secretary to discuss, briefly, the current situation in the Middle East. It was also an opportunity for the Ambassador to discuss the current political situation in Palestine with Ms Kate Luxford, the director of the Middle East section.
