On March 20 in celebration of Francophonie Week, Ambassador Abdulhadi and the Embassy staff attended a screening of the Lebanese film, “Sous le ciel d’Alice” in Canberra.

On 18 March, a delegation of 15 students from the ANU International Relations Society visited the Palestinian Embassy to learn about diplomacy and the political situation in Palestine. Ambassador Abdulhadi shared a presentation about the important history of Palestine and provided an overview of the Israel Palestine conflict.

On March 19, Ambassador Abdulhadi participated in the celebration of the Eighth Anniversary of the Pontificate of His Holiness Pope Francis conducted in Canberra.

On March 17, the Moroccan Embassy celebrated Francophonie week through an amazing showcasing of the Moroccan Tea process. Drinking Tea is a well-established tradition within Moroccan culture and it has its unique process and taste.

Between 6-8th March Ambassador Abdulhadi had the opportunity to travel to Perth, Western Australia in response to an invitation from the Australian Arab Association (AAA).

Ambassador Abdulhadi attended a Memorial for Christchurch held in Canberra on 15 March, for the two year anniversary of the terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.

On 24 February Ambassador Abdulhadi and GDOP staff attended a business dinner in Canberra organised by the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN). Ambassador Abdulhadi participated on February 22 in an important panel organized by the Parliamentary Friends of Palestine in the Federal Parliament.

The Council of Arab Ambassadors met at the residence of the Ambassador of Morocco in Canberra on February 18/2021.

Ambassador Abdulhadi participated in the International Holocaust Remembrance Day reception on February 10 in Canberra.
