Iftar hosted by the General Union of Palestinian Workers (GUPW) in Sydney

On April 18, the Palestinian Ambassador participated in a Ramadan Iftar organized by the GUPW in Sydney.
Ambassador Abdulhadi delivered a speech highlighting the contributions of Islam to Australian multiculturalism and urging the Muslim community to play an active role in shaping Australia identity. He also urged the Muslim community to continue supporting and lobbying for Palestinian rights in Australia and educating the public about the Palestinian cause by promoting the Palestinian narrative. The iftar was attended by MPs as well as representatives from Muslim, Arab and Palestinian communities.
The donations from the Iftar have been transferred to families in Gaza and West Bank.
