After prolonged delays and continued Israeli aggression, the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip finally took effect today, following 15 months of relentless Israeli genocide, siege and starvation.

In an effort to streamline the recovery and humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian government is scheduled to hold an extraordinary meeting to coordinate the work of various ministries and official bodies operating in the region.
