Palestinian Foreign Ministry Condemns Israeli Settler Terrorism and Calls for Immediate International Action to Protect Palestinian Civilians
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine strongly condemns, in the harshest terms, the terrorist attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinian citizens and international solidarity activists during the national olive harvest season in the occupied West Bank.
The Ministry affirms that the actions of these armed settler militias take place under the protection and coordination of the Israeli occupation army. These attacks are part of a systematic and wide-ranging policy designed to target the Palestinian people by preventing farmers from accessing their lands, assaulting them, burning their vehicles, and stealing their olive harvests. These crimes are an extension of the ongoing campaign of extermination and displacement, and of Israel’s efforts to obstruct the growing international momentum aimed at ending the unlawful Israeli occupation and realizing the State of Palestine.
The Ministry also condemns the Israeli occupation authorities’ arrest of 32 foreign activists who had been participating in a campaign to support Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest and to document settlers’ crimes. These unlawful practices are a continuation of ongoing attempts to conceal the scale of these assaults and violations of international law, as part of a comprehensive Israeli policy aimed at erasing all aspects of Palestinian life in the occupied Palestinian territory.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stresses that the Israeli occupation authorities, through various means including settler terrorism, are attempting to displace the Palestinian people from their land through inflicting terror, murder, uprooting trees, and burning crops. These crimes must not pass without accountability, as they not only constitute a flagrant violation of international law, but also a grave threat to the values of justice underpinning the very foundations of the international system, and to other fundamental human rights and norms.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on all states and the international community to act immediately to put an end to these violent settlers’ crimes, protect Palestinian civilians, and ensure their legitimate and inalienable right to live in security and dignity on their own land.

تؤكد الخارجية على ان حراك العصابات المسلحة للمستعمرين، يأتي بحماية وتنسيق من جيش الاحتلال الاسرائيلي وجزء من سياسة ممنهجة وواسعة النطاق لاستهداف ابناء شعبنا ولمنع المزارعين من الوصول إلى أراضيهم، والاعتداء عليهم بالضرب، وإحراق مركباتهم، وسرقة ثمار الزيتون، وهو ما يمثل جزءاً من استمرار مخطط الإبادة والتهجير وعرقلة الزخم الدولي الرامي لانهاء الاحتلال الاسرائيلي، وتجسيد الدولة الفلسطينية.
كما تُدين الوزارة اعتقال سلطات الاحتلال 32 ناشطاً أجنبياً كانوا يشاركون في حملة لمساندة الأهالي في قطف الزيتون الفلسطيني وتوثيق جرائم المستوطنين، معتبرة هذه الممارسات تمثل استمراراً لمحاولات إخفاء حجم الاعتداءات وانتهاكات القانون الدولي في سياق سياسة شاملة تسعى إلى محو كل جوانب الحياة الفلسطينية في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة.
تؤكد وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين أن محاولات سلطات الاحتلال واداوته المختلفة بما فيها ارهاب المستوطنين، والرامية إلى تهجير الشعب الفلسطيني من أرضه بالإرهاب والقتل وقلع الأشجار واحراق المحاصيل يجب ألا تمر دون محاسبة لانها ليس فقط تشكل انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي، بل وتهديد لقيم العدالة التي تقوم عليها اسس المنظومة الدولية وغيرها من الأعراف والحقوق الاساسية.
وتدعو الخارجية جميع الدول والمجتمع الدولي إلى التحرك فوراً لوضع حد لهذه الممارسات، وحماية المدنيين الفلسطينيين وضمان حقهم الثابت والاصيل في العيش بأمن وكرامة على أرضهم.
