Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Strongly Condemns Netanyahu’s Recent Statements on ‘Greater Israel’ as an Escalation of Israel’s Hostility to Peace
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine condemns in the strongest terms the recent statements by the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, affirming his adherence to the vision of so-called “Greater Israel” and the expansionist colonial projects associated with it, at the expense of Arab peoples and the sovereignty of Arab states.
The Ministry regards these statements as an explicit and official confession of the Israeli government’s true objectives and intentions: to liquidate the Palestinian cause; to swallow up all of historic Palestine and annex it in its entirety; and to persist in the inherently colonial and racist nature of the Israeli occupation’s policy, particularly in its targeting of our fellow Arab states – striking at their security and stability, and threatening both the national security of individual states and the collective security of the entire region.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry considers that the gravest aspect of such provocative and inciting rhetoric by Israeli officials is their direct connection to deliberate Israeli efforts to liquidate the rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right to realise the State of Palestine on the ground.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry urgently calls on the international community and all states to treat Netanyahu’s statements with utmost seriousness, as a blatant violation of international law, a flagrant challenge to relevant United Nations resolutions, and a heinous attempt to conceal crimes of genocide, forced displacement, and annexation – by diverting the attention of the international community and preoccupying states in an endless cycle of misleading positions and false narratives in order to gain as much time as possible at the lowest possible cost.

تدين وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين بأشد العبارات تصريحات رئيس وزراء دولة الاحتلال بنيامين نتنياهو بشأن تعلقه بمقولة "اسرائيل الكبرى" وما يرتبط بها من مشاريع استعمارية توسعية على حساب الشعوب والدول العربية، وتعتبرها اعترافاً إسرائيلياً رسمياً بنوايا وأهداف حكومة الاحتلال في تصفية القضية الفلسطينية وابتلاع فلسطين التاريخية وضمها بالكامل، والإصرار على الطابع الاستعماري العنصري لسياسة الاحتلال خاصة تجاه الدول العربية الشقيقة وضرب أمنها واستقرارها وتهديد الأمن القومي العربي والوطني لكل دولة.
ترى الوزارة أن أولى المخاطر الناتجة عن مثل تلك الدعوات التحريضية الاستفزازية ترتبط بمحاولة تصفية حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني وفي مقدمتها الحق في تجسيد الدولة الفلسطينية على الأرض، وتطالب المجتمع الدولي والدول التعامل بجدية مع تصريحات نتنياهو باعتبارها انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي وتحدياً سافراً لقرارات الأمم المتحدة، ومحاولة لإخفاء جرائم الابادة والتهجير والضم وازاحتها عن سلم الاهتمامات الدولية واشغال الدول بدوامة لا تنتهي من المواقف والشعارات المضللة لكسب المزيد من الوقت وبأقل الخسائر.
