Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Warns of the Dangers of Prolonging Genocidal War and Forced Displacement Against the Palestinian People in the Gaza Strip
The Israeli government is deliberately prolonging the genocidal war and forced displacement against the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip. It is deepening its acts of genocide and forced displacement in full view and knowledge of the international community, including through its escalation of the crime of weaponizing starvation and thirst in its destructive war on Gaza, depriving more than 2 million Palestinian people of their most basic human and civil rights. In addition, Israel persists in its relentless, rolling bombardments, which frequently leave behind more civilian casualties, including children, women, and the elderly.
The Ministry views with extreme gravity and concern Israel’s prolongation of genocide, forced displacement, and the cycle of violence and war. It considers this blatant defiance of international efforts to secure a lasting ceasefire and begin humanitarian relief and reconstruction operations in Gaza, as well as a deliberate manoeuvre to circumvent the outcomes of the recent Arab Summit, relevant resolutions of international legitimacy, and the provisional measures ordered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
The Ministry stresses that any political framework that does not prioritize the protection of Palestinian civilians constitutes a flagrant violation of international law, including international humanitarian law.
The Ministry also calls for serious international intervention and warns against being dragged into the vortex of Israel’s political agenda, its demands, and its manipulations at the expense of human lives and the existence of the Palestinian people in their own homeland.
The Ministry urges all parties to take immediate actions to stop the genocidal war and forced displacement against the Palestinian people.

تتعمد الحكومة الاسرائيلية إطالة أمد حرب الإبادة والتهجير ضد شعبنا خاصة في قطاع غزة، وتقوم بتعميق مظاهر الإبادة والتهجير على سمع وبصر المجتمع الدولي من خلال تصعيد جريمة استخدام التجويع والتعطيش كسلاح في حربها المدمرة على القطاع وحرمان أكثر من 2 مليون فلسطيني من أبسط حقوقهم الإنسانية والمدنية، هذا بالإضافة لاستمرار جرائم القصف المتدحرج والذي غالباً ما يخلف المزيد من الشهداء في صفوف المدنيين بمن فيهم الأطفال والنساء وكبار السن.
تنظر الوزارة بخطورة بالغة لإطالة أمد الإبادة والتهجير ودوامة العنف والحروب، وتعتبرها استخفافاً بالجهود الدولية المبذولة لتثبيت وقت الحرب والشروع في عمليات الإغاثة والإعمار، والتفافاً على مخرجات القمة العربية الأخيرة وقرارات الشرعية الدولية والأوامر الاحترازية التي صدرت عن العدل الدولية.
ترى الوزارة أن أية معادلة سياسية لا تعطي الأولوية لحماية المدنيين الفلسطينيين وأبناء شعبنا في القطاع تمثل انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي والقانون الإنساني الدولي، وتطالب بتدخل دولي جاد وعدم الانجرار خلف دوامة السياسة الاسرائيلية ومطالبها ومراوغاتها على حساب حياة أبناء شعبنا وبقائهم في أرض وطنهم، والتحرك الجاد من جميع الأطراف لوقف حرب الإبادة والتهجير.
