Meeting with DFAT regarding the Palestinian Prisoners' hunger strike

Chargé d'Affaires a.i Ms Suheir Gedeon met with staff from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in order to discuss the ongoing Palestinian prisoners' hunger strike.
Ms Gedeon presented facts about the hunger strike, explaining the Israeli violations of international law and human rights against the Palestinian prisoners, and outlining the legitimate demands of the Prisoners' hunger strike.
Ms Gedeon called upon the Australian Government to condemn these Israeli violations and to ask the Israeli Government to meet the fair demands of the strike.
