Mr Khalil (Charlie) Shahin AO of Peregrine Corporation Pty Ltd, a Palestinian refugee, won the 33rd Annual Henry Ngai Medium to Large Business Category. In his impressive and emotional introduction, Mr Shahin spoke about his journey from a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon to Australia, making connections between the challenges he faced and the mountainous journey of Palestinian resistance against colonization and occupation.
