During his trip to Aotearoa New Zealand, Ambassador Abdulhadi met with solidarity groups and members of the local Palestinian communities in Auckland and Wellington.

These meetings included representatives from solidarity groups and Palestinian community groups such as the Palestinian Coordination Committee, Palestinian Youth Aotearoa, the Palestine Solidarity Network Aotearoa (PSNA), and Justice For Palestine (J4P). Many important discussions took place, and the Ambassador was able to heard about the most important political activities and initiatives being organised by these groups in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Ambassador also presented comprehensive briefings of the latest developments in Palestine, ongoing Israeli violations of Palestinian human rights, the Palestinian vision and strategy towards self-determination and statehood, and the activities of the General Delegation in the field of bilateral relations with the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand governments.

During these discussions, it was agreed that ongoing effective communication and joint initiatives between solidarity groups in Aotearoa New Zealand and the Palestinian Embassy in Canberra is key to strengthening advocacy in defence of the rights of the Palestinian people.
