Eid el-Fitr Celebration at DFAT

On May 1, Ambassador Abdulhadi participated in an afternoon tea/reception in celebration of Eid el-Fitr, hosted by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) at Parliament House in Canberra.
The reception was attended by Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator the Honourable Penny Wong, Mr Ridwaan Jadwat, Australia’s Special Envoy to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and First Assistant Secretary of the Middle East, Africa and Afghanistan Division of DFAT, as well as other Muslim and Arab Heads of Diplomatic Missions.
The Hon Senator Wong seized the opportunity to convey her warmest congratulations to the Heads of Missions on the occasion of Eid el-Fitr.
