Press Release: Political Prisoner Khader Adnan, 44, Dies after 86 Days of Hunger Strike
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemns the heinous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation authorities that led to the martyrdom of political prisoner Khader Adnan, age 44. The Israeli government and its authorities bear full and direct responsibility for his death.
The Ministry is closely following the case of Adnan's death, which was caused by Israel's policy of medical neglect while he was on an 86-day hunger strike and the Israeli government's continuous refusal to release him from administrative detention. Therefore, the Ministry will submit a file of this crime to the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Ministry also calls on the International Investigative Committee to investigate the circumstances and details of this crime, which is part of the ongoing persecution, abduction, repression, and deprivation of rights and freedoms that our heroic detainees are subjected to.

تدين وزار ة الخارجية والمغتربين باشد العبارات الجريمة البشعة التي ارتكبتها سلطات الاحتلال والتي ادت الى استشهاد الشيخ خضر عدنان ، وتحمل الحكومة الاسرائيلية واذرعهاذات العلاقة المسؤولية الكاملة والمباشرة عن هذه الجريمة . ان الوزارة اذ تتابع قضية استشهاد الشيخ خضر عدنان نتيجة سياسة الاهمال الطبي واثناء خوضه اضرابا مفتوحا عن الطعام لليوم ٨٦ ، ورفض الحكومة الاسرائيلية الافراج عنه ، فانها سترفع ملف هذه الجريمة للجنائية الدولية ، كما ان الوزارة تطالب لجنة التحقيق الدولية المستمرة التحقيق في ملابسات وتفاصيل هذه الجريمة ، باعتبارها جزءا مما يتعرض له الاسرى الابطال من تنكيل واختطاف وقمع وسلب لحقوقهم وحريتهم .
