Statement

We have repeatedly warned of the consequences of blocking the political horizon, and of not allowing the Palestinian people to exercise their legitimate right to self-determination and statehood. We have additionally warned of the inevitable consequences of daily provocations and assaults, the ongoing terrorism by extremist Israeli settlers and occupation forces, and provocative raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque and other Islamic and Christian holy sites.

The only way to achieve security, stability, and peace in our region is by ending the Israeli occupation and recognizing the right of the Palestinian people to an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital, on 1967 borders.

Israel's flouting of signed agreements and its non-compliance with international law and legitimacy has resulted in the destruction of the peace process and the absence of a solution to the conflict after 75 years of suffering and displacement.

The perpetuation of injustices and oppression against the Palestinian people, the international community’s persistent policy of double standards and silence in response to the criminal, racist practices of the Israeli occupation are directly responsible for the current explosive situation and the absence of peace and security in the region.

Peace requires justice, freedom, and independence for our Palestinian people, the return of refugees, and the full implementation of resolutions of international legitimacy.
