On the evening of 17 November, Ambassador Abdulhadi attended the opening reception for the Palestinian Film Festival 2016 at Palace Norton St Cinema, Sydney.

On the evening of 17 November,  Ambassador Abdulhadi attended the Palestinian National Day event at the Westin Hotel in Sydney, organised by the Australian Palestinian Community of NSW. The event was a remarkable success and was attended by many distinguished guests and proud members of the Palestinian Community.

Ambassador Abdulhadi attended and delivered a speech at the Palestinian Independence Day celebration at Federation Square in Melbourne.

Members of the Palestinian Community in Canberra, including a staff member of the Palestinian Embassy, played their opening match in the Hyatt Embassy Futsal Cup 2016.
