On May 3, Ambassador Abdulhadi and Mrs Zeina Abdulhadi attended the Foreign Policy address of the Honourable Nanaia Mahuta, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Aotearoa New Zealand, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) in Wellington.

On May 1, Ambassador Abdulhadi participated in an afternoon tea/reception in celebration of Eid el-Fitr, hosted by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) at Parliament House in Canberra.

On March 8, the Palestinian Embassy received a student delegation from the Australian National University (ANU) International Relations Society. This visit was an opportunity to present the students with a historical context of the Israel-Palestine conflict as well as brief them on the latest political developments in Palestine.

On 27 February, Ambassador Abdulhadi participated in the launch of a new novel by Palestinian author, academic and advocate Dr Nejmeh Habib, entitled Rabi3on Lam Yuzhir (ربيع لم يزهر).
