NEW TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR LABOR MPs
NSW Labor leader Luke Foley announced yesterday that any Labor MPs receiving assisted travel to Israel would be expected to spend an equivalent time in the West Bank and/or Gaza to hear the case of the Palestinians.
"Labor believes in a two-state solution. A two-state solution must be built on understanding the perspective of two peoples".

UK, France call for Israeli-Palestinian UN deal, resolution being drafted
Britain and France are urging the UN Security Council to restart the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, while New Zealand has begun drafting a resolution on the issue. This was prompted by the US saying it may “reassess” its position on the stalled talks.
France and New Zealand have stressed that it is imperative to act now, given that the Israeli elections are over and there is a current lull in the US before the presidential election campaign heats up.

On April 13, 2015, foreign ministers representing 16 out of 28 European Union (EU) Member States sent a letter to High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini requesting that she take “the lead” and complete the “important work on labeling of settlement produce/products.”

Palestine calls for concrete actions from Asian, African leaders
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Asian-African Ministerial Meeting on Monday, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki said Palestians were encouraged that so many Asian and African countries supported Palestinian independence. However, he said he was eager to see how those words of solidarity were put into action to help end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
Indonesian president, Palestinian PM hold bilateral talks
Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Tuesday met with Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah on the sidelines of the Asian African Business Summit held here, discussing ways to support Palestine in attaining full independence.
Speaking to the press conference after the meeting, President Widodo said that further meetings to discuss concrete moves to push forward the independence of Palestine would be conducted at the Asian African Summit 2015.
